WHAT MAKES A LOVE SO STRONG

What makes a love so strong,
and makes our love so right,
its as a feeling like a song,
when every note just lights the night.

What makes our love so true,
and makes us see beyond friends' doubts,
its when our faith's in me and you,
and our chemistry works out.

What makes our love so good,
and makes our love so tender,
its whether or not we're in the mood,
love we receive, we're each the sender.

What makes our love go on to last,
and makes our hearts and minds hold through,
its when we live not in the the past,
but start afresh and start anew.

And when we daydream thoughts of each,
even when our love is young,
when we're are beyond each others' reach,
our love still lasts and remains strong.

WHY DO I LOVE THEE

You asked me why
I love you so,
you wonder why
my love is deep.
You asked me why
but you don't know,
and can't believe
it's you I'll keep.

So here I am
to tell it all,
my heart is warm
and reasons call,
to love you in
your present form.

I love you 'cause you're honest
yet I'm honest to myself,
and that is why
my spirit pries,
to look for what's in stealth.

I love you 'cause you're pretty
yet faces can deceive,
for evil comes in pretty forms
and ugliness is conceived.

I love you cause you're friendly
yet it's to all of them,
you think I am so jealous
my mind is more than stem.

MISSING YOU

The summer sun,
beats fiercely down,
as I go along,
but a slight, cool breeze,
whistles through the trees,
and whispers melodies.

I hear the birds,
thought of the words,
that you had said to me,
and so I wonder,
we're not asunder,
its just my heart that's fonder.

Yet its so hard
to be away,
to miss your touch
for just one day,
but my faith,
is here to stay.
I'll be with you,
'T'will be us two,
I know I woun't
be feeling blue.

The summer moon
will bless us soon,
as we listen to the tune,
of our hearts beating,
while we're embracing,
our true love
we will be sharing.

CATCH ME A DREAM

Catch me a dream
oh dream catcher
and take my lonliness,
just like a cool stream
that would attract her
when she's hot and restless.

She's in my mind
embracing me
and saying, 'I love you,'
her whisper's kind
her smile's so free
and my emotions too.

It has been long since we've caressed,
but our love's strong to us its best,
so far we are but our hearts' near,
just like a star we know its there.

let me squeeze around your waist,
and I'll seize your lips to taste.

Some nights I spend to think of you,
so many dreams my mind passes through,
and even when I sipped my coffee,
I saw you then your face before me.

The times I called you on the phone,
my cell phone stalled and made you groan,
I kept so full of confidence,
we held our cool and felt less tense.

Let your heat warm up my heart,
we both a treat so let us start,
as we gaze each other's eyes,
we're in a daze and in surprise.

BEAUTIFUL YOU

Eyes that sparkle in the night,
lips so soft kiss me tonight,
your scented dash arouse my senses,
and your words with thrilling tenses.

Your stride is like a proud gazelle,
your smile it makes me feel so well,
I see your thrill your spirit's free,
as I whisper, 'come here to me.'

Tonight's the night come let us dine,
let's leave our worries all behind,
will it be our favorite space,
or shall we make it to our place.

Candle lights the music's soft,
and gourmet sizzles there aloft,
the scent of flowers and of roses,
tickle 'neath our wanting noses.

We look down yonder at the city,
where angels roam and it's so pretty,
thirty stories scrape the sky,
from here we watch the cars cruise by.

We go a-floor and take a chance,
your hands feel warm just as we dance,
your breath it warms the night away,
your smile's so bright like it was day.

And now the time has come about,
we seat to rest the ring its out,
I then whisper, "I love you,"
this ring will show my love is true.

WHEN TWO ARE IN LOVE

When you love someone who loves you back,
you feel it deep within your heart,
cause when you kiss and you caress,
the butterflies they seem to start.

When you love someone who loves you too,
the kiss is soft and warm,
and when you hold them close to you,
it's always like the norm.

When you love someone they look brand new,
your friends may look for faults,
but you don't heed their envios eyes,
ignore them till it halts.

And when you star into the eyes,
the one you love stares back,
you both feel like you're hypnotized,
because the truth's on track.

When you love someone who treats you nice,
and others folks want trouble,
sometimes you feel its up to you,
to say, 'move on the double!"

When you love someone who thinks that you,
are just the greatest gift,
you smile and take the compliment,
because it gives a life.

When you're in love
and one's in love with you,
it feels like heaven on your mind
and a dream come true.

And even if you both have ways,
that must be understood,
in time the love will be so strong,
it will be all for good.

IF THE EARTH COULD TALK

If the earth could only talk,
on lonely nights I'd take a walk,
what's in my heart would flow.
I'd express my love to you,
and let you know its really true,
you'd hear the earth's echo.

And if the crispy evening breeze,
could only have my feelings seized,
to take it on to you,
I'd send it on its merry way,
to let you know that I'm ok,
you make me feel brand new.

And if the stars could only say,
by twinkling all the milky way,
you'd know my eyes adore,
and so you'd smile just for a while,
the moon would shine much more.

And if the long and winding stream,
coiuld only play a note or sing,
you'd hear the melody,
but youj can listen to the waves,
and what I uttered it would say,
that you'd come back to me.

LET'S GET MARRIED AND HAVE LOTS OF SOUL BABIES

I woke up this morning,
with lots of things to do,
my life is great and I'm satisfied,
just thinking things on through,
for I have everything I want,
except what my soul's into.

Recital:

I thought today just what I need,
I thought I need the best of ladies,
give a name and build family,
lay down a good, strong legacy,
for life is great, so great,
a man and woman with kids make eight.

I took heed, deep in my soul,
my feelings and my mind are sold,
yes, its better to get married,
have intelligent children, eyes starry,
treat my love with much respect,
live and love, good things collect.

I make the bread my career is new,
everything I do it comes on through,
I go to parties I'm always thrilled,
but still sometimes my heart feels grilled,
burning for what's really good,
spouse, children, large strong family.
